Connecticut State Parks

You must pick up this pass at the library. Check out after 3 pm on day before museum visit or the day of your visit.  Return pass to the Main Reading Room desk by 12 pm on the day after your museum visit.  

Pass waives entrance fees for the building or museum for up to two adults and four children ages 6 to 12 years.  Admission is free for children under 6 years.

(Parking is free at all state parks and forests for vehicles registered in the state of Connecticut.)

Valid at Dinosaur State Park in East Haddam, Fort Trumbull Visitor Center in New London, and Gillette Castle Park.  Check respective web sites for hours and safety protocols.

To ensure availability, make reservation online at Reserve America or ask a librarian for assistance.

Search Gillette Castle State Tour Parks

Choose "Library Pass" and input pass number as a five digit number (00---).  

Gillette Castle Park tickets (Castle Tour) are available online in advance via Reserve America and pass holders must reserve ticket(s) using the pass number printed on the day pass.  Add leading zeros for pass number to be 5 digits.    There may be a small administrative fee for booking a reservation at this third party website. 

The CT State Parks Centers and Historic Buildings Day Pass cannot be used for camping or special events.
